Quick tip today that for some reason not a lot of people do…
CUSTOMERS NEED REPETITION
You should be repetitive.
You need to drill your unique selling propositions and brand mission into your customer’s brains. And that doesn’t come from just one or two reminders…
It takes MANY reminders through time.
If you feel you’re getting repetitive in your marketing that is a good thing, you just need to make sure the thing that’s being repeated is important.
People see over 70 different ads every day (and that’s being conservative).
As much as we hope the customer remembers and knows everything about your brand, they just don’t.
They see so many other brands. They forget stuff, you get mixed up with others, etc.
Always assume in your marketing that the customer has very low, base level knowledge of your brand and you need to remind them.
Repeat Your Effective Graphics
We have one client where we include the same infographic in pretty much every single email… Yes, EVERY SINGLE EMAIL.
If it is so effective, why only show the customer once a month?
If you have a great graphic or piece of information don't be afraid to reuse it and drill it into the customer.
You don't need to reinvent the wheel every time. If you have something proven to work use it again.
THE CUSTOMER NEEDS TO BE REMINDED MORE THAN THEY NEED TO BE TAUGHT.
Infographics are the single most effective assets you can use in your email marketing.
They are skimmable, clear, and the customer doesn’t have to read (which they hate doing).
Reuse reuse!
Maybe you don’t have a specific graphic, but you have a statistic that is really effective…
Don’t be afraid to repeat that too!
I’d rather tell the customer of an important stat too much rather than too little where they forget about it…

Here is another example of an infographic that I would reuse in a lot of my emails.
It effectively shows the brand USPs and can be thrown at the bottom of any email.
Spend time developing these graphics and reuse!
