I can’t explain this topic better enough than Alex Hormozi so I will attach this quick video clip that changed my life and email philosophy.
The Hard Part About the Plan is Sticking to The Plan
In 90% of cases you know exactly what to do to succeed.
Everybody KNOWS that to get in shape you should go to the gym every day, eat more protein, and be in a caloric deficit.
And many people start doing it… but then drop it.
This proves in this instance that the problem in some cases isn’t the plan.
The problem is your ability to stick to the plan.
Everybody KNOWS that if you work 10 hours a day on something for 2 years, it would be very difficult to not succeed.
Many people will start, understanding the plan.
Then quit after a few weeks of 10 hour workdays.
Or maybe a few months.
And then quit because they aren’t seeing the results.
But what was the plan in the first place?
The plan was to get after it for 2 years… stick to the plan for 2 years.
That doesn’t meen for 2 weeks, or 2 months, or 1 year and 2 months.
That means 2 full years.
The thing is, all the growth and results will come from that 10 month period AFTER you quite at 1 year and 2 months.
Nothing for 14 months, then everything would have come in the next 10 months.
Stick to the plan, whatever your plan is.
Trust your gut.
You know what you need to do.
Just stick with it.
The “Plan” For Scaling Your Email Channel
I’m going to lay out all you need to scale your ecom brand profitably and get the most out of your email channel.
You just need to STICK to this plan (which most of you probably won’t do cause you get frustrated after a couple months).
Here’s the plan:
Get a pop-up that converts 8% of website traffic into email subscribers.
This will allow you to grow your list efficiently and slowly build up your list and increase your revenue over time (the more you stick to the plan over time the more members you get on the list and the more money you will make).
This also allows you to get the most out of your ad traffic and not let them just bounce off your website. People need nurturing over email to buy. Maybe they don’t buy the first week, but if you keep sending them value they will buy maybe on month 4 (as long as you stick to the plan).
Setup your base email flows with 30ish emails within them.
Your flows are your automated emails that more often than not will be very high converting (welcome, abandonments, post purchase)
The flows you want are the Welcome Flow, Site Abandon Flow, Browse Abandon Flow, Cart Abandon Flow, Checkout Abandon Flow, Post-Purchase Flow, Winback Flow.

Send 3x value-based email campaigns to your list every week
We need to keep our list engaged. If we aren’t consistently sending them emails they will forget about us and will stop opening and not come back to us.
By sending 3x per week we stay top of mind with the customer and become their go-to brand for your industry. You get a mental headspace monopoly. When they think about for example protein powder, YOUR brand is the first that comes to mind. This increases the odds that next time they need protein they buy from you and not a competitor.
Focus on value, not sales. Use this guide to know what to send and how often to send.
This is the blueprint. This is the plan. Stick to it.
