Let’s start planning our email marketing for March!

Campaign Calendar Planning

The actual strategy and topics behind your emails are, in my opinion, more important than the actual emails themselves.

A wise man once said, “you can’t polish a turd”…

Translation: You can’t make money on an email if it’s a topic your list doesn’t care about.

Spend time finding topics you know your list will find engaging!

Below I’m going to attach a mock calendar I have created for Hydroflask for March so you can see what kind of topics and strategies I run.

I always recommend 3-4 email campaigns per week focused on giving value and engagement to the email list.

Let me show you what I mean…

March Email Marketing Calendar (4 Emails/Week + Spring Sale)

Week 1:

📩 Feature user-generated content and testimonials from adventurers & athletes.

✅ March 9 - "Spring is Calling: Get Ready for Outdoor Adventures"
📩 Position Hydro Flask as the perfect companion for spring hikes, picnics, and workouts.

Week 2:

✅ March 11 - "Sip Sustainably: Our Commitment to the Planet"
📩 Highlight the Parks for All initiative and eco-friendly aspects of Hydro Flask.

✅ March 13 - "Your Perfect Adventure Companion"
📩 Help customers choose the right bottle size/style based on their lifestyle.

✅ March 15 - "Behind the Bottle: How We Design for Durability"
📩 Showcase the craftsmanship and durability of Hydro Flask with a behind-the-scenes look.

✅ March 17 - "Spring Sale is Coming... Get Ready!"
📩 Tease the upcoming sale and build excitement.

🌸 Spring Sale (March 18-22)

🎉 5 Days Only: Exclusive Spring Sale on Hydro Flask!
Each email keeps urgency high while maintaining brand value.

✅ March 18 - "Spring Sale Starts NOW: Upgrade Your Hydration"
📩 Announce the sale + highlight best-selling bottles.

✅ March 20 - "Hydro Flask Must-Haves: Limited Time Offers"
📩 Feature popular spring colors/sizes and why they’re a must-buy this season.

✅ March 21 - "Going Fast! Don’t Miss These Spring Deals"
📩 Showcase top-selling items running low in stock.

✅ March 22 - "Last Chance! Sale Ends Tonight at Midnight"
📩 Final urgency push to maximize conversions.

Week 4:

📩 Share maintenance tips, cleaning hacks, and best practices.

📩 Feature real customers and their experiences with their bottles.

📩 Engage customers with smoothie, tea, or coffee recipes perfect for Hydro Flask.

✅ March 30 - "Something Big is Coming in April…"
📩 Tease an upcoming launch, limited edition release, or initiative to keep engagement high.

Boom. Just like that.

Educational emails, community building emails, and a quick sale for spring.

This is how you add a fun twist to an email that could be boring.

Awesome job coming up with a topic (Galentine’s Day Ideas) that would resonate with the customer base.

Then, it is also high converting with button placement and contrast.
