Email Marketing Tools
The Inbox Newsletter
Hey it’s Max from The Inbox Newsletter.
Today I am going to save you years of testing platforms, looking for features, and wasting time on email marketing.
These are the best possible tools for all sorts of different use cases.
Let’s break them down.
Klaviyo: Email Sending Provider
This is obvious, hopefully.
You should be using Klaviyo for your email marketing. It crushes all other platforms in features, capability, and support.
You will be limited on all other platforms.
If you want an email system that scales, get on Klaviyo.
Figma: Email Design Tool
The most versatile and advanced platform for email design is Figma.
A lot of people use Canva, especially when beginning, but eventually switch to FIgma as things get more advanced.
Canva is very limited with organization, features, and capabilities compared to Figma.
I would highly recommend making the switch to Figma as soon as you can before you have to do it later. Once you nail Figma it will make your life 100x better and easier.
If you want help with Figma design, here are a few resources:
ILoveIMG: Image Compressor Website
This is a website that will compress your image files to as small as a file as possible.
This way when you use image based designs in Klaviyo your image files are small and don’t cause deliverability issues.
Smaller files also will load faster for the customer in their inbox and improve conversions.
Be sure to compress EVERY image file with https://www.iloveimg.com/compress-image
The Noun Project: Free Icon Library
Icons are a huge part of both emails, ad creatives, and websites.
This website is by far the best free library I’ve found for getting good icons.
Save this site!
Really Good Emails: Free Email Inspiration Website
This is a great site for getting inspiration from handpicked emails in whatever category you’re looking for.
Most of these are really solid, some more than others.
I check this site every day and always use inspiration to make my emails.
Milled: Free Email Inspiration Website
Milled is similar to Really Good Emails but it’s a massive database of emails for most the brands on the market.
Essentially they will show all the emails that a brand sends so you don’t have to subscribe to their emails.
This is great for stalking and stealing strategies from some of the top brands.
Airtable: Project Management App
There are all sorts of project management tools and apps you can use.
Notion is a popular one but it is very limited in automations and advanced capabilities.
You can use Notion but don’t expect it top scale well, it’s made primarily for personal life and basic project management.
If you are doing complex projects I would recommend Airtable.
What other tools do you guys use?
These are my most used ones that I can’t imagine living without… I could give more but they are quite niche.
I would recommend introducing all of these into your daily life!

Notes:
Such a simple email that is effective and mighty.
All you need in your emails are a strong hero section and then a bottom bridge section ending with a bottom CTA. Simple and effective.
Also notice the footer and buttons there - VERY underrated way to pick up clicks in your emails.
Template of The Day
Hero Section Template #5
One of our most used section templates similar to the example for today.
